I decided to try a new makeover with a beautiful girl named cia who I chose at random. I really hope that you like the makeover. I tried to make her look more light and approachable. I really think I made a nice transformation
I loved her freckles so much. I wanted them to show greatly in my final look so I didn't put on any blush. The first thing I changed was her hair. She had way too much hair for her pretty face. So I gave her a short, stylish cut and changed the haircolor to blonde with highlights. I complimented the lightness of this look with a light pink lipstick. I also used black eyeshadow to add contrast to the look. I wanted to do this so the look wouldn't be very one-sided. There are several different dimensions in this look. I wanted to keep the accessories light so I decided to just include a golden, floral headband. I feel that everything in this look fits together very well and that the transformation is strong

Hotbuys Tee Shirt

Hey guys, a new hotbuy has just been released into starplaza. Everyone has been anticipating this new hotbuys tee from top shop. When experimenting with this top, I realized that many colors have the ability to compliment the top. I decided to not show too many colors just so we can focus on the top. I made sure to add volume with the Fallen Angel Ruffle Skirt and I used the new wide buckle belt to break it up a bit. The Elle necklace was the final touch in this ensamble and I hope you love it. Be sure to let me know what you think in the comments. Sorry by the way for the lack of posts, I got busy with my senior year and when I was planning to come back, I got swine flu. All better now though! Be sure to comment

How to wear the Hot Buys Necklace!

I don't know how long it's been out but probably a while now!

But I created 3 outfits using the necklace.

They aren't anything over the top, they are actually really simple and cheap.

Except for that the necklace is only superstar!

The first outfit is kind of girly.
Second is a laid back look.

Third is just a fun, easy look.

New Miss Sixty items.

When I logged into Stardoll, I went straight for my Stardoll inbox as it's the first thing I do when I log into Stardoll. :P

I saw a message from Stardoll advertising the new collection of Miss Sixty. I immediately rushed to the Starplaza, wanting to spend my stardollars on something nice for my doll as there hasn't been a great deal of nice releases from Stardoll lately.
This was the image that Stardoll showed me in the message. I have never been a fan of Miss Sixty but I thought it looked quite nice when I saw it in the message, probably because Stardoll used Photoshop or whatever to make it look appealing.

When I arrived at the starplaza, a disappointment greeted me. Most of the clothes were ugly and tacky looking in my opinion, especially the leopard print dresses, the jumpsuits and the tops with writing on them.

However there was a few items I liked, mostly accessories. You can see the items I liked below.
*I just realized I left out the taste print tank, it's one of my favourites too*

They are simple and most importantly, black. Black is one of my favourite colours, it goes with every colour and most black stuff will match whatever you wear.

What are your opinions on the new collection?

Baby Phat Outfits

Baby Phat has always been my favorite brand to wear in real life. We can now get these fabulous designs over Stardoll! So I knew that I had to blog about these. I made two outfits pictured above that show the chic looks that you can find at baby phat. I loved the print of the top in the left picture. But the cut was just okay for me. So I took Pretty in Pink's Everyday vest and layered it under to give the top a futuristic sleeve. I accessorised to perfection with several items including the Baby Phat Sneakers which are similar to the old DKNY boots. A must buy. The outfit to the right is much simpler; but still completely chic. The jumpsuit accentuates the length of the body and will make your doll look much taller. Baby Phat is one of the best lines to enter Stardoll yet so you should get your hands on these right away!

Well, the Mary Kate & Ashley Real Brand shop disappeared! :O

Personally, I'm not sad at all, I didn't like their clothes, it was too babyish for my liking.

So yeah, Stardoll has released some more Miss Sixty items. All I can say is: ugly, ugly and ugly.

No offense. It's not Stardoll's fault as I know some people actually think they're pretty, it's just me.

I tried my best creating a decent outfit from Miss Sixty as you can see below.

My favourite Miss Sixty items were the black vest as seen above and the scarves as it would add colour to any outfit. I chose black Jordache jeans, a cropped white tee, the black vest, a black & white bag and white flats from Basics. I looked at it for a while and I thought I needed more colour so I added an orange plaid scarf and the orange bow inspired by Josh Goot. When working with those colourful Miss Sixty scarves, keep your outfit plain and simple, the scarves are a bold accessory.

6. Bisou Chloii Shoes - I think that flats have been making a huge comeback in fashion. It was first stilettos, now stylish flats, and the next "it" shoe is the peep toe boot. So keep a look out for cute flats and boots that can fit well into your wardrobe.

7. Rio Chicas L-S Dress - This is the Highly Anticipated Alexander McQueen dress that everybody was waiting for. It was in Starplaza for a short time so all of those Superstar Fashionistas should get their hands on this dress today.

8. Fudge Girls L-S Jumpsuit - Easily, one of my favorite items in the Starplaza. Jumpsuits have always been in fashion when styled the right way. This bold jumpsuit will help you make a statement at any setting and truly stand out.

9. Bisou Inspired by Sabyasachi Dress - This item looks good at the naked eye but looks even better when in an outfit. This is one of those rare items that can be dressed up or down with ease. You will use this one over and over again.

Hotbuys Leopard Coat

The latest hotbuys item has just been released into Starplaza. It is the Hotbuys leopard coat from Rio. Overall, I think that the jacket is chic, but not chic enough to cost 15sd! That's a lot of money to spend on a coat. But since Stardoll is giving out Stardollars for the 40th anniversary, maybe you can afford this one. This is a very risky item. It wouldn't be that hard to go from chic to tacky. So be careful of that when styling your outfit. So what do you all think of the jacket? Let us know in the comments
